I reached 500 subscribers on YouTube is a really big deal for me. My previous attempts on gaining attraction on YouTube were never successful, I think I peaked around 200 in my last attempt? It's hard to remember since that channel was forgettable. I had already hit a sweet spot with my content which have gotten me up to this point, which I thank YouTube's broken algorithm for recommending my mediocre content to y'all. But where should I go beyond this point in time?
My channel has always been in the game corruption genre, with a few tech "reviews" here and there. The problem with being in this genre is that if you corrupt game after game, it's going to get old. And yes, I admit that it's getting old. That's why I want to bring more variety to the channel, but with my lack of ideas at the time of writing this it's going to be difficult. I've already tried to bring more variety to the channel, such as the Exploring Old Broken Bones Games on ROBLOX video, or one of my personal favorites, the A Completely Ignorant Happy Wars Overview video.
It feels like I put in more effort with videos similar to the Happy Wars video, as I genuinely had fun recording and editing that video. With corruption videos, editing is far more boring and time-extensive. All I do is:
- Find a moment where Contestant0 does the funny
- Zoom in on the clip (if needed) for viewers to get a closer look at the funny
- Split the clip, then find another moment where Contestant0 does the funny
